Editing
Tara edited the day after filming, however because I was on holiday I wasn't able to help. When I got back from holiday after the christmas holidays Tara and I looked at the media together and decided that although many parts were good, there needed to be some alterations. We decided to re-shoot the performace element of our music vid and get a wider range of shots in order to make the music video better. We also decided that many of our shots were too lengthy and in places too shakey. We did our second day of filming on the 15th of January and then started editing on monday, we did some editing on monday tuesday and wednesday in order to make our video as good as possible. As far as our original idea goes. we decided that we needed to do some altering to make it look more proffesional and realistic. We used a variety of shots varying from long distance shots to close up's, we also had an equal balance of Performance and narrative, this is the style of the majority of Powepop music video's and we thought we should aim to do this also. All in all I think that our filming and editing was successful.
